Timeless Lip Colors I Can’t Live Without

When it comes to my beauty routine, the one item I never skip out on is lipstick! At this point, lipstick has become such a big part of my signature look and style I really can’t leave the house without it. Nothing makes me feel more confident and put together than the final touch of a pretty pout. One of the most common questions I get pretty frequently is: “What color are you wearing?” It’s always about the shades I wear or what brands I like to purchase from. So, I thought, why not do a small “What’s in my makeup bag” blog post?

I consider myself an avid lipstick or lipgloss collector. It’s an obsession. I have every shade for every occasion, but I can’t help but notice the five lipsticks I always carry with me. I call these my go-to shades. When I travel, these are the ones I always grab. They work well with my skin tone and compliment both casual and dressy occasions. 1. K.I.S.S.I.N.G Pillow Talk Fair Lipstick by Charlotte Tilbury

Pillow Talk Fair by Charlotte Tilbury is such a sexy shade! It’s ultra-feminine and pairs perfectly with any occasion. Adding some rouge blush to your cheekbones compliments this shade for a monochromatic look. My personal preference, I love to wear this shade with a darker, more bronze lipliner for a fuller effect.

2. Casablanca Lipstick by Tom Ford

When I’m at the mall the Tom Ford makeup counter is typically where you can find me. When it comes to lipstick – this is probably my go-to brand. Casablanca is the most used lipstick I own. I run through these a couple of times a year. This shade just works for me! It’s a deep pink mauve, just beautiful!

3. Mademoiselle by Chanel

My obsession with Chanel goes far beyond just bags; I love the makeup too! Mademoiselle by Chanel is a versatile shade, not to mention the packaging is just luxurious. This lip formula is full of hydration; it’s full coverage and creamy. Not to mention, it’s full of luminous shine. No lip-gloss is needed!

4. L’Absolu Rouge Intimatte Buildable Soft Matte Lipstick

L’Absolu Rouge Intimatte Buildable Soft Matte Lipstick is a shade I sampled at Sephora. It’s long-lasting and fade-free, in other words, it will last you all day long. In addition, this lipstick is also infused with hydrating ingredients. It’s also buildable so you can control the saturation depending on the type of coverage you prefer.

5. Walk of Shame by Charlotte Tilbury

Lastly, the Walk of Shame lip kit by Charlotte Tilbury is the latest addition to my collection. I am undeniably obsessed! The rouge tone is so feminine and fun. Pat this all over your lips to create a lip stain effect. I also like to apply the lip liner for a full and defined look.
